breastfeeding parents
HERE, YOU'LL FIND...
Imaginative advocacy and anti-oppression work
at the intersections of social norms, mental health, anatomy, representation, age, labor, gender, social justice, health, and freedom
Collective realities and individual stories that add nuance to our understanding of what it's like to be breastfeeding, and a household breadwinner
Opportunities to gather virtually and locally.
Welcome.
I'm Ginelle Krummey, LCMHC, therapist in private practice and fellow breastfeeding breadwinner.

I’m so glad you’re here. Breastfeeding Breadwinners is where I share findings and provide a sense of community for people who find themselves in a truly powerful, tender, and vulnerable position in society.
It can be a truly isolating experience to have a person depend on you for their daily... or hourly... nutritive needs. Now stack that on to already being the primary earner for the household, and the pressure is ON!

Here, you can read stories about the experiences of other breastfeeding breadwinners, advocacy writing about what's unjust about our realities, and visioning for a better world for parents of babies.

All work I do as a psychotherapist and activist is collaborative. Please reach out and contribute! Send fellow BFBW's here to sign up for an interview. Write a guest blog article. Write a personal narrative. Contribute a poem. You are so welcome here.
